Tel Aviv Travel Guide

Tel Aviv is Israel's economic hub, home of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and many corporate offices and research and development centers. Its beaches, cafes, upscale shopping and secular lifestyle have made it a popular tourist destination.

About Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv covers an area of 20 sq. miles (51.8 square Km) and is estimated to have a population of 3.2 million people being the second-largest city in Israel. Tel Aviv was ranked as the most expensive city in the Middle East and the 17th most expensive in the world.

Tel Aviv Brewhouse

Its interior features dark wood and gold trim, but the restaurant’s centerpiece is the massive gold tank used for brewing the three beers offered: a dark, red and a golden. What better to accompany a rich, finely brewed beer than a thick slab of meat? The menu is heavily meat-based: steaks, filet mignon, and a range of fish and seafood. In addition to beer, a full range of cocktails is offered. Live jazz is featured on Fridays, 2p-5p and Sundays 9p-midnight. Prices are moderately expensive, although the house beers are quite cheap.
